Heart of Compassion has been blessed in many ways. Apart from the full-time commitment of Director Eric Tietze and the tireless dedication of Manager Ron Payne, the core staff of 5-10 volunteers works continuously to make the weekly food distribution program possible.For larger events, such as the monthly Community Days, the number of volunteers ranges from between 100-500, all of whom pitch in to distribute food, clothing and other essentials to the thousands of needy families who attend.

Nonetheless, Heart of Compassion is at a pivotal point in its ministry. In order to have a far greater impact on the lives of those less fortunate, individual and corporate sponsors are needed to help HOC continue to fulfill its mission.

Without the Partnering Ministries (listed below), it would not be possible to reach nearly as many of the individuals, families, shelters, rehabilitation homes and all the other groups who benefit so much from a "helping hand."
